American Idiot

American Idiot is the seventh studio album by American rock band Green Day, released in September 2004. A concept album, it critiques post-9/11 American culture, politics, and media through a narrative following 'Jesus of Suburbia,' a disaffected youth. The album spawned several hit singles including the title track, 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams', and 'Wake Me Up When September Ends' and is considered one of Green Day’s most ambitious and successful works.
